Description:

Elizabeth A. Piccione, MD, is a cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is the director of northern territory at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute and is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and completed her residency and fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital.

Dr. Piccione joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2011. Her clinical interests include preventive care and women’s cardiovascular disease. Dr. Piccione has a publication on “The effect of mucomyst in patients undergoing cardiac catheterization” and is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Piccione lives in New Castle with her husband and three children. She enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with family.
