The "Of the Month" awards, or OTMs, are one of the major ways that we recognize each other. Any Resident can nominate a person, group, or program to be recognized. These awards include a number of categories, such as "First Year Student of the Month" or "Social Program of the Month", and are written reflecting why this individual, group, or event is deserving of recognition.

To better help students write these, the National Residence Hall Honorary is hosting an OTM Workshop where they will go over tried and tested practices that will make you an amazing OTM writer!

Attendance to this event is encouraged for all Hall Council members, as you will be writing OTMs throughout the academic year.

OTMs that win on a Campus level are transmitted on to the regional level, and winners from the region are transmitted to the national level. The University of Pittsburgh has had numerous regional winners, and a handful of national winners as well, so we want to encourage and empower our Resident OTM Writers to write great OTMs by giving them the correct tools and information to do so.

Please join us as RSA hosts the Non-Alcohlic Mix-Off (NAMO). This event challenges competitors to mix the best non-alcoholic drink, while also providing educational information about the dangers of underage drinking and binge drinking. This year, however, NAMO goes international! In partnership with the Study Abroad Office, RSA is challenging competitors to create a drink and theme around a country or culture, and to provide educational information about what they are representing. Attendance is free, and attendees will vote on a series of categories for the competitors throughout the evening.
